“I’m not even sure where to begin with all the kind things I have to say about Roy & his team. When we first started planning our wedding, I met with several photographers, but when I met Roy, I knew instantly that his level of professionalism and attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for. Roy and his colleague, Hailey, were easy to talk to and put my crazy bride brain at ease! We chose a package that included an engagement session, which due to our own schedules, we had to do in the freezing cold in mid December! Roy and Hailey totally rocked it! They had us rolling around in the snow and hiking through woods, but they did everything fast and efficiently, so none of us had to freeze our butts off longer than needed! And once we got our pictures, we knew we had made the right choice!
On our wedding day; Roy, Hailey, and Hannah showed up right on time, and they were ready to get things done! As a bride without a wedding planner, I was a bit hectic and all over the place, but having done plenty of weddings before, if I had a question of how things normally proceeded, they were right there to offer advice. They also spread out between the guys getting ready, us girls, and detail shots of the ceremony and reception, which was wonderful to get to see parts of the wedding I otherwise wouldn’t have been a part of. Even when it came to getting family photos and shots of the wedding party, they were so quick and efficient, which was nice because every minute of your wedding day is precious, and they know you don’t want to be stuck taking pictures forever.
The last thing I feel like I have to mention is that during our reception, Roy and the girls came up to our table and handed us a framed picture they had taken of my husband & I an hour before! It was such a wonderful surprise and that kind of consideration and care is what makes Henry Roy Photography rise above the rest. I truly loved meeting all of them & having them there to share in our special day.
